HOUSTON - The co-owners of a mold remediation company accused of various deceptive trade practices against consumers and insurance companies have indicated no interest in a proposed judgment offered by the Attorney General's office to resolve the dispute. The State of Texas v. Richard L. Steffan, et al., No. 2002-43363 (Texas Dist. Ct., 151st Jud. Dist., Harris Cty.).

The company owners have stated that they are not going to accept the proposed judgment and intend to take the case to trial.
