Second Teacher Files Suit Against Mold Remediator for Injury Due to Chemicals Exposure

BEAUFORT, S.C. - Another Battery Creek High School teacher has sued a South Carolina mold remediator for injuries she alleges are the result of her exposure to chemicals the company used while performing mold abatement in the school. Jennifer Weitekamper v. Tech Clean Industries, Ltd., No. 2003-CP-07-315 (S.C. Comm. Pls., Beaufort Cty.).

According to the Feb. 14 complaint filed in South Carolina's Beaufort County Court of Common Pleas, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered a variety of physical symptoms as a result of her inhalation of chemicals the remediation company used during mold remediation and clean-up services at the school.
