Damp Indoor Spaces Project Study Report Anticipated

Since January 2002, The National Academy of Science (NAS)/Institute of Medicine (IOM) has been working on a literature review project entitled "Damp Indoor Spaces and Health." According to the Study Director, David A. Butler, Ph.D., a report based on the review should be ready for release in early Summer 2003.

Dr. Butler stated that the project committee will draw its conclusions on the basis of the available research. Where the literature base is lacking will be noted and accounted for, he said, and research recommendations may be offered.
