TOPEKA, Kan. - A supermarket worker who developed allergic reactions to fresh produce and related mold allergens is entitled to benefits for a temporary, work-related injury, but not to long-term wage-loss benefits, the Kansas Court of Appeals affirmed July 1. Casey v. Dillon Cos., No. 93,302 (Kan. Ct. App.).
Millie K. Casey was an employee of a Dillon Companies grocery store in Sterling, Kan., from 1990 to April 2003.
