LANSING, Mich. - Michigan's Court of Appeals has affirmed judgment for real estate agents and brokers who relied on a release homebuyers signed at closing to defend against claims they failed to discover and disclose mold problems. Hall v. Small, No. 252814 (Mich. Ct. App.).
In a per curiam opinion, the court affirmed judgment for Richard Sidick and Carol Shelton, the agent and broker retained by purchasers-plaintiffs Leo and Susan Hall, and Norma Spreeman and Burley & DeBrow Ltd., sellers' agent and broker.
