N.Y. Court Dismisses D.C. Ritz Owners' Lawsuit Against Contractors

NEW YORK - A New York trial court said June 3 that the 'overwhelming weight of convenience' required it to dismiss a construction defect lawsuit arising from mold problems at the District of Columbia Millennium Square hotel-condominium complex. 2200 M Street LLC v. Bovis Lend/Lease Inc., et al., No. 602690/03 (N.Y. Sup., N.Y. Cty.).
2200 M Street LLC, a New York-based company, was the developer of the Millennium Square project in the District of Columbia, which included a Ritz-Carlton Hotel and 161 condominiums.
