BEAUFORT, S.C. - A teacher who is suffering neurological damage and other physical reactions has filed a civil suit for negligence and breach of warranty against a mold remediation company, alleging that her exposure to chemicals used to clean the HVAC system at her high school caused severe physical reactions. The teacher also filed a workers' compensation claim for her injuries. Christine A. Callahan v. Tech Clean Industries, Ltd., No. 03-CP-07-159 (S.C. Comm. Pls., Beaufort Cty.).
