Summary Judgment Motion Denied in Erin Brockovich Mold Case

LOS ANGELES - According to a final ruling, the defendant's motion for summary judgment has been denied in the Erin Brockovich mold case, paving the way for the trial to proceed on its scheduled date of April 21. Brockovich v. Morrison Associates, No. LC051037 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

The court had issued a tentative ruling on the matter on Jan. 30, and finalized that ruling at a Feb. 4 hearing, stating that enough questions of fact exist in the case to deny the defendant's motion for summary judgment or for summary adjudication.
