U.S. District Court Dismisses Corporation as Plaintiff in Case of Moldy Rental Property

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota recently ruled that a corporation that purchased a rental property found to be contaminated with mold had no contractual relationship with the insurer utilized by one of the two corporation owners. The court, therefore, dismissed the corporation with prejudice as a plaintiff in the case. Deer River Development, Inc., Craig Wilson, and Lisa Wilson v.
