HOLLISTER, Calif. - Seventeen employees of a county child services department have filed individual lawsuits against the landlord of their office space for the moldy and water-damaged conditions in their one-story office building [see case citations at the end of this article].
The employees filed suit Dec. 19 in California's Superior Court for San Benito County, against the landlord and other companies responsible for constructing, designing, operating, managing, inspecting and maintaining the office building, although they did not name the county as a defendant.
