LOS ANGELES - A general contractor found 90 percent liable by a jury for construction defects that caused extensive mold growth in a Palos Verdes house has been unsuccessful in seeking equitable indemnification from the developers, and also has been unsuccessful in its attempt to offset the judgment against it by the amount of the homeowners' settlement with the developers.
