WASHINGTON - The owner of a condominium unit in The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton is suing her insurer, the condominium's developers and two environmental companies hired to inspect and remediate the mold-ridden luxury residential building. Carol A. Anderson v. USAA Casualty Insurance Company, et al., No. n/a (D. D.C.).
According to the Nov. 14 complaint, the condominium owner is suing her homeowner's insurance carrier as well as the companies involved in the development of the posh residences and the two environmental consulting companies hired by the defendants to investigate and abate the mold.
