Homeowner Sues Insurer, Realtors For Not Disclosing Presence of Mold Prior to Home Sale

ELLISVILLE, Miss. - A Mississippi homeowner has filed suit against her homeowner's insurance policy provider, among others, for failing to properly investigate her claim and for denying coverage of the mold condition in her residence. Kim Parker v. Mississippi Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, et al., No. 2002-270-CV9 (Miss. Cir. Ct., 1st Jud. Dist., Jones Cty.).

According to her Sept. 5 lawsuit, the homeowner is also suing some unidentified parties, including the real estate agents who sold her the home, for not disclosing the presence of mold in the house prior to its sale.
