Temporary Injunction Granted in Case of Fraud by Mold Remediation Company

HOUSTON - A district court granted a motion for temporary injunction filed by the State of Texas against a remediation company and its two owners in a case concerning allegations of fraud and deceptive trade practices. The State of Texas v. Richard L. Steffan, et al., No. 2002-43363 (Texas Dist. Ct., 151st Jud. Dist., Harris Cty.).

The district court's decision came after a Sept. 18 hearing on the motion filed by Attorney General of Texas John Cornyn on behalf of the State of Texas against Mold Restoration, Inc., and its two principles Richard Steffan and Robert Steffan.
