BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - An Alabama circuit court has upheld the plaintiffs' motions to compel against all the defendants named in a bad faith/fraud suit concerning a mold-contaminated Birmingham home. James W. Wood and Sandra Wood v. Farmers Insurance Group, et al., No. CV02-2676 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
The court upheld the motions to compel filed by James and Sandra Wood who, earlier this year, sued their insurance company and the contractor it hired to conduct repairs to their home. At a hearing held Oct. 7, the court granted the motions and gave the defendants 30 days to respond to …
