$900,000 Settlement Announced In Mold Personal Injury Suit Against Apartment Owners

SANTA ANA, Calif. - On Aug. 8, plaintiffs' counsel announced a $900,000 settlement in a personal injury case stemming from a family's exposure to mold in the North Hills apartment complex in Anaheim, Calif. Casey Celmer, et al. v. Village Investments, Inc. d/b/a VPM, Inc., et al., No. 00-CC-09178 (Calif. Super. Ct., Orange Cty.).
The lawsuit, filed by Melissa Celmer and her three sons against the apartment owner, former owner, property manager and a remediation contractor, settled through mediation.
