Homeowners Sue Developers and Subcontractor for Defective Installation of Synthetic Stucco




BALTIMORE - Six homeowners in a Baltimore gated townhouse community have sued the developers, general contractor and subcontractor for the defective installation of a synthetic stucco product called InsulScreen 2000 that allegedly allowed moisture intrusion and mold to grow underneath the siding. Gerzanich, et al. v. Struever Bros., et al., No. n/a (Md. Cir. Ct., Baltimore City).

The suit, filed May 31 in Baltimore City Circuit Court, also alleges that the homeowners were defrauded by the developers' use of a defective product that was not waterproof and could not be adequately maintained or repaired.
