DALLAS - According to a July 2 decision by a federal court in Texas, a homeowner who alleged that her insurer failed to investigate, cover and remediate mold contamination in a timely manner was also unable to prove that the insurer failed to effectuate a prompt, fair and equitable settlement. Lora Darrell Maynard, et al. v. State Farm Lloyds, No. 3:00-CV-2428-M (N.D. Texas, Dallas Div.).
