MADISON, Wis. - An amended class action lawsuit was filed June 21 adding parents and students as plaintiffs in a case originally filed on behalf of teachers and staff at the mold-contaminated Caesar Chavez Elementary School in Madison, Wis. Sharon Pressentin, et al. v. Westra Construction, Inc., et al., No. 02CV0821 (Wis. Cir. Ct., Dane Cty.).
Other changes in the amended complaint are that the insurance company obligated to pay worker's compensation benefits for persons employed by the Madison School District has been added as a subrogated party, a public nuisance claim was added as a cause of action, and …
