Environmental Firm Only Partially Successful in Recouping Attorneys fees

SALEM, Ore. - A remediation firm that prevailed in two lawsuits over payment for a residential mold project was entitled to attorneys' fees in one case but failed to specify the basis for a second award, the Oregon Court of Appeals has affirmed. Rymer v. Zwingli, et al., No. A131131 (Ore. Ct. App.).

Oregon's Court of Appeals affirmed the split decision on The Light Up Company's bid for fees on Feb. 16, rejected Light Up's argument in the second claim that it provided sufficient information to warrant an award despite its failure to cite provisions of the relevant statute.
