BESSEMER, Ala. - On June 10, a contractor named as a defendant in a bad faith/fraud suit concerning a mold-contaminated Birmingham home, filed an answer denying that it was hired by co-defendant Farmers Insurance Group to perform repairs at the home in question. James W. Wood and Sandra Wood v. Farmers Insurance Group, et al., No. CV02-2676 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
