BALTIMORE - A special master has recommended that a federal court affirm the damage awards made to Maryland homeowners after a 2003 hurricane and deny the homeowners' demands for additional payments under the National Flood Insurance Program. Moffett, et al. v. Computer Sciences Corp., et al., No. 8:05-CV-01547 (D. Md.).
The March 11 Report and Recommendation to reject further claims by plaintiff Joanne Dolgow was just one of several filed by a special master on March 11, and follows the court's decision last month to reject another dozen similar claims.
