Court Orders Landlord Defendants To Produce Lease and Deposit Records

NEW YORK - A New York court has ordered the landlord defendants in a constructive eviction case to turn over bank records and other documents sought by former tenants and to appear for deposition within 60 days. Kusters v. Leffe, No. 107700/2010 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., N.Y. Cty.).

The New York County Supreme Court denied that part of the plaintiffs' motion seeking records of other tenants' security deposits, saying they have not shown that such records are material.
