Water Claims Fluctuate While Costs Surge in California

icIendicn June, the Insurance Information Network of California (IINC) released figures concerning water claims and water-repair costs compared to other homeowner claims for the years 1997 through 2001 (see end of article). These data show fluctuating water claims that dramatically increase in 1998 and 2000, resulting in an overall increase during the years studied. Meanwhile, all other homeowner claims decreased during the years studied (see Figures 2a and 2b).
