Miss. Apartment Complex Appeals $3.6 Million Water Damage Verdict

JACKSON, Miss. - The owners and managers of a Mississippi apartment complex are appealing a $3.6 million verdict awarded to tenants in July, contending that the evidence was insufficient to support the award. Ballard Realty Company Inc. v. Ohazurike, et al., No. 2010-TS-01616 (Miss. Ct. App.).

Ballard Realty Co. and Parham Pointe North LLC filed a notice of appeal with the Mississippi Supreme Court on Oct. 4, and the court will review the record before assigning the case to itself or the Court of Appeals.
