Roberts, Jr. of Townes, Woods & Roberts, P.C. in Gardendale, Ala., noticed that he was receiving telephone calls from people experiencing various types of construction-related problems with their homes. The callers were relating their problems back to home builders and/or repair contractors. However, as Roberts examined the cases, he discovered that the main problem was often the growth of mold subsequent to repairs made after water damage insurance claims.
