NEW YORK - A court-appointed referee has awarded Bianca Jagger's former landlord $590,295.36 in back rent and attorneys' fees stemming from an eviction proceeding that Jagger resisted despite her claim that the rent-controlled New York apartment was contaminated with mold. Katz Park Avenue Corp., et al. v. Jagger, No. 104524/2005 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., N.Y. Cty.).

Jagger is still pursuing her personal injury action and the fee award here is not related to the landlords' representation in that action, Special Referee Howard G. Leventhal noted in his July 22 decision.
