Home Owner Can't Split Mold Claims, Statute of Limitations

LOS ANGELES - A plaintiff pursuing personal injury and property damage claims for mold contamination cannot split the claims for purposes of avoiding the statute of limitations just because she discovered some property damage within three years of filing the complaint, a California judge has ruled. Farmer v. Stonewater Home Owners' Association, No. BC238549 (Ca. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
