HARTFORD, Conn. - The Connecticut Supreme Court has ordered a new trial on damages owed by a developer for defects blamed for water intrusion and mold in a $620,500 home. Naples v. Keystone Building and Development Corp., No. 18397 (Conn. Sup. Ct.).
In a decision scheduled for publication on March 30, the state's high court rejected the homeowners' appeal of adverse verdicts on their unfair trade practices and unjust enrichment claims, but agreed that the $59,140.40 awarded in damages was inadequate.
