JACKSON, Miss. - Mississippi's Court of Appeals has affirmed judgment for a carpet cleaner blamed by a homeowner for persistent mold contamination from a broken water pipe. Wright v. Royal Carpet Services, No. 2007-CA-01668-COA (Miss. Ct. App.).

The court issued that ruling in a Feb. 23 en banc opinion after finding that the trial court did not err in allowing evidence of the plaintiff's homeowner's insurance to be presented to a jury and that the plaintiff waived any appeal by raising the issue herself and/or failing to object at trial.
