Ferry Terminal Cases Continue as Maine High Court Declines Appeal

AUGUSTA, Maine - Maine's high court has declined to address an interlocutory appeal of a lower court's decisions not to grant a municipality's motion for summary judgment on immunity grounds, meaning former government workers can continue to pursue their consolidated actions for alleged mold-related injuries. Wilcox, et al. v. City of Portland, No. 2009 ME 53 [Cum-08-540] (Maine Sup. Ct.).
The Supreme Court's latest ruling on May 14 also left in place, however, lower court rulings granting summary judgment to four of the 13 defendant on statute of limitations grounds.
