Appeals End in Case that Brought Defense Verdict, $341,000 in Costs

LOS ANGELES - A California appellate court has noted in a docket entry that deadlines have passed for any further appeals in a mold personal injury lawsuit that ended in a defense verdict four years ago. Dee v. PCS Property Management Inc., et al., No. B186000 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).
The California Court of Appeal, Second District, issued a remittitur on July 30, returning the case to Los Angeles County Superior Court, which not only issued a judgment for defendants in 2005 but awarded them $331,167.52 in trial costs.
