Trump Organizations Fails in Bid for Dismissal

NEW YORK - A New York trial judge has denied a motion by the Trump Organization LLC to dismiss it from a property damage lawsuit brought by a tenant of a Trump affiliate. Bostany v. Trump, No. 602627/2008 (N.Y. Sup., N.Y. Cty.).

New York County Supreme Court Justice Milton A. Tingling ruled on May 20 that the plaintiff raised sufficient questions about a principal-agency relationship between Trump Organization and the plaintiff's landlord to deny the motion.

Bostany is seeking damages for flood damage and mold at a property leased from 40 Wall Street LLC.
