OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Washington Supreme Court has unanimously affirmed a lower court's decision to allow the general contractor on a townhome project to sue the predecessor of a subcontractor for alleged construction defects. Cambridge Townhomes LLC, et al. v. Pacific Star Roofing Inc., et al., No. 81003-6 (Wash. Sup. Ct.).

The high court held June 18 that the sole proprietorship that preceded the incorporation of contract P.J. Interprize Inc. could be liable under a theory of successor liability.
