Pa. Court Affirms Rejection of Workplace Exposure Claim

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A Pennsylvania court has affirmed a workers' compensation panel's decision to deny benefits to a woman who claimed that workplace exposure to mold and other hazards led to respiratory problems and fatigue. Grundy v. Workers' Compensation Appeal Board (County of Delaware), No. 1993 CD 2008 (Pa. Cmnwlth. Ct.).

The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania said in a May 5 unreported opinion that the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board did not "capriciously disregard" evidence by adopting the views of one expert over another.
