LOS ANGELES - A California appellate panel has affirmed a trial court's decision to exclude causation testimony by experts who wanted to link a plaintiff's fibromyalgia and fear of cancer to mold exposure, saying the opinions lacked foundation. Dee v. PCS Property Management Inc., et al., No. B186000 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).

The Second District Court of Appeal also rejected Darcee Dee's contention that the trial judge showed bias in his rulings against her, and it found no reason to overturn a 2005 defense verdict or the $331,167.52 awarded to defendants for trial costs.
