Sto Avoids Statutory Claims Over EIFS Installation in New Jersey

TRENTON - A New Jersey appeals court has affirmed dismissal of statutory claims against siding manufacturer Sto Eastern Inc., in part because Sto made no representations to the plaintiff homeowners, who were not the original buyers. Dean v. Barrett Homes Inc., et al., No. A-1479-07T1 (N.J. Super. Ct., App. Div.).

Presiding Judge Philip S. Carchman issued the published opinion of the Superior Court Appellate Division on April 15, while two other judges joined in a separate, concurring opinion.
