LOS ANGELES - A California appellate panel said a trial court erred in dismissing a lawsuit after granting a disputed motion to hold a mold plaintiff to the terms of an oral settlement agreement, saying the trial court should instead have awarded judgment "pursuant to the terms of the agreement." Aboutanos v. Franco, No. B205596 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).

The California Court of Appeal, Second District reversed the order dismissing the complaint filed by Antoinette Aboutanos against her landlords and remanded for judgment despite Aboutanos' belated objections to the settlement terms.
