Court Affirms Judgment for Builder in Construction Defect Suit

SAN FRANCISCO - A California appeals court has rejected tolling arguments and affirmed judgment for a builder sued for alleged defects 11 years after completing construction. Gundogdu, et al. v. King Mai, Inc., No. A120323 (Calif. Ct. App.).

In an unpublished opinion issued on Feb. 11, California's First Appellate District affirmed the judgment issued by the San Mateo County Superior Court in favor of King Mai Inc., and also awarded King Mai costs incurred in the appeal.
