U.S. Marine Files New Complaint Asserting Exposure to Toxic Chemicals at Camp Lejeune




NEW BERN, N.C. -- Another complaint has been filed asserting claims that a former U.S. Marine was exposed to toxic chemicals while based at Camp Lejeune for two years in the 1950s. Shriberg v. United States of America, No. 11-00012 (E.D. N.C.).

On Jan. 21, Joel Shriberg filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, contending that he developed breast cancer as a result of the "notorious and reckless contamination" at Camp Lejeune.
