CHICAGO — An Illinois truck driver has filed a class action against the makers of an edible CBD candy, alleging that contrary to its labeling, it contains delta-9- tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive chemical in marijuana.
In an Oct. 28 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, plaintiff Trevor Darrow says the “JustCBD” gummy watermelon rings he ate to help him sleep caused him to fail a drug test, resulting in his termination.
