JUUL Petitions JPML to Create MDL Docket for Claims Pending Against Company for its Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– JUUL Labs Inc. has filed a petition to create a national coordinated multidistrict litigation docket for claims pending against the company for its electronic nicotine delivery systems, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting.

The petition was filed with the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on July 29.

In it, JUUL says that it has been named in 10 cases pending in federal courts across the country, six of which are putative class actions. Four of the cases are pending in the Northern District of California, the defendant noted.
