Plaintiffs Seek Creation of MDL Docket for Claims Relating to Quest Diagnostics Data Breach

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Plaintiffs with claims pending against American Medical Collection Agency Inc. for the company’s alleged failure to protect confidential information of “millions of patients,” have asked the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to create a coordinated docket for the claims, saying the common questions of fact support the creation of a multidistrict litigation docket.

In the June 4 filing, the plaintiffs told the JPML that each of the pending actions is a putative class action and that more cases are anticipated.
