Coordinated Federal Court Docket Sought for Valsartan Heart Drug Lawsuits

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs in Illinois who have brought one of eleven federal lawsuits asserting claims against makers of recalled Valsartan heart drugs have moved to consolidate the cases before a federal judge in New Jersey.
In an Oct. 22 motion, the plaintiffs ask the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to transfer their case and others pending in cases like it to Judge Freda L. Wolfson for coordinated pretrial proceedings.
