WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Plaintiffs asserting claims relating to the retention of toxic gadolinium in their organs, bones, and tissues have filed a petition seeking the creation of a multidistrict litigation docket, arguing that the number of Linear Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agent cases “will likely be in the hundreds or more due to the widespread use of Linear GBCAs in MRI and MRA procedures.”
