WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs in more than 50 federal lawsuits alleging injuries caused by hernia mesh products manufactured by C.R. Bard Inc. and subsidiary Davol Inc. have petitioned a federal judicial panel seeking creation of a nationwide coordinated docket for the cases.
In an April 10 motion for transfer of all similar pending and future cases to a single federal judge, the plaintiffs contend that the hernia mesh litigation involves several complex common pre-trial issues that would be ideally managed in a consolidated multidistrict litigation docket.
