WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs have filed a motion with the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation seeking a centralized pre-trial docket for all federal lawsuits targeting Intel processors and their alleged susceptibility to security breaches.
In a motion filed Jan. 8, plaintiffs in two of five class action lawsuits currently pending against Intel nationwide told the JPML that the recent discovery of flaws within most of the company’s processors that incorporate so-called “speculative execution” technology would likely lead to numerous similar lawsuits.
