CLEVELAND — The judge overseeing the National Prescription Opiate MDL docket has granted a motion to approve a leadership structure and several leadership positions proposed by plaintiffs’ counsel representing parties in the litigation.
According to a Jan. 4 order, Judge Dan Aaron Polster of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio approved nominations for plaintiffs’ co-leads, co-liaisons and the plaintiffs’ executive committee.
Judge Polster had directed plaintiffs to address objections to an original motion filed Dec. 20, in which the plaintiffs requested approval of a proposed leadership structure that was agreed upon during an informal meeting …
