WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has indicated that next month it will decide a motion to transfer nearly a dozen generic drug price-fixing cases filed in New York and New Jersey to an MDL docket of similar cases established last year in Pennsylvania.
In a hearing session notice filed Feb. 14, the JPML designated the motion — which also calls upon the panel to re-name the Pennsylvania MDL to reflect a growing number of antitrust cases involving a variety of generic drugs — for consideration without oral argument.
