Plaintiffs File Petition for Creation of LFIT V40 Femoral Head MDL Docket

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Plaintiffs have asked the JPML to create a multidistrict litigation docket for claims relating to Stryker’s recalled LFIT V40 femoral head, saying that transfer and consolidation for pre-trial proceedings will “promote the just and efficient conduct of these actions.”

In the Jan. 13 petition filed with the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, the plaintiffs asked the panel to transfer the pending claims to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, noting that three of the personal injury actions are already pending there.
